This game was very well made and so relatable for someone who experiences sleep paralysis episodes in real life every now and then! You captured the feeling and the atmosphere quite perfect in this game!
This game had NO REASON to be this scary! But man I’m excited to play the second game. I was convinced that by now loud jump scares wouldn’t work on me but Solitary Studios did it RIGHT with this one!
Holy hell, this game was TERRIFYING as heck!! Some tense and downright chilling moments and scares. Job well done on depicting the horrors of sleep paralysis.
An otherwise cool looking game is plagued with bugs. Mouse sensitivity is to the point of being rage inducing. instead of the movement being smooth and fluid, it's kinda clunky and you have to keep moving the mouse in one direction repeatedly in order to move. I even turned up the sensitivity in game and in my Windows settings and it doesn't help much. The (E) Spam for eating doesn't work and literally puts a stop in playing the game as you can't progress any further beyond this point. It's a shame that due to a tragedy be falling the devs that this game will most likely never see any future updates, I offered to send the devs the files for this game in hopes that they might be able to fix the bugs that hinder this game's gameplay.
Really. It sucks that SolitaryStudios most likely don't have the files anymore to fix it because I really wanted to play the whole game in its entirety.
So sorry for the inconvenience and yes. You're right, we don't have the file for the silent still 1 now due to the house fire. I will try to compensate you by giving a free copy of silent still 2 if you like?
i got the normal Silent Still 2 with the $7.00 bundle I got off of here. If you want I could send you the files for both the normal and Extended versions, I don't know if this could help you at all but it'd be worth a shot
i finished the game perfectly fine? maybe because i played on steam, but i don't know, it was FINE. you're kinda overblowing it. do have some compassion for the devs having to deal with such a tragedy!

This game was nothing short of a masterpiece. You put so much detail and thought behind the concept and it is truly terrifying because it is something that can actually happen in real life. It happens to many people, night after night— me included. I had to get this as the prequel to the second in that I saw first. Thank you for developing this nightmare of a game!

I have a small problem, my sensitivity is so low i almost cant play the game. I also tried turning up the sensitivity in game but that doesent work, can someone please help me?

Silent Still delivers a spine-chilling experience that feels unsettlingly close to the real thing! The sleep paralysis sequences are downright terrifying, and the visuals pull you into a nightmarish world. Sure, there were a few minor bugs, but nothing that distracted from the heart-pounding immersion this game offers.
If you're looking for a game that will leave you questioning whether you're still asleep or awake, this is it. I'm giving this game a solid 9.3 out of 10 sleep paralysis demons! Looking forward to whatever horrors the dev brings next!

So I went to play the game, when I extracted the files it wouldn't let me copy over "sharedassets0.assets.resS". I can start the game but it is super dark and I can't see where the light switch is in the kitchen. I don't know if its because of the file I couldn't extract or if its suppose to be that dark. I looked at some videos and it's not that dark in their videos. I don't know what to do.
Maybe your file is bugged or corrupted. You can send me a proof of payment into my email and I can send you a perfecly working steam key just to compensate. Thanks!
Came here to say, as a person who does actually suffer from sleep paralysis, this actually mega freaked me out. The way you really have to force yourself only to not be able to move at all was relatable... and hovering and then walking through your apartment was also relatable. And the references to the fact he was also suffering stress outside which might be triggering it.
The only thing I'd say is the name nearly put me off as a meme game... But actually was a pretty decent game in its own right. Oh also the computer section was REALLY buggy for me.
Overall, I thought this was actually really good. It ended a little too abruptly for my liking, but the sleep paralysis sections were very well done, and most importantly, scary.

This game is really REALLY SCARY! I experienced some bugs and had to redo almost half of the game but still, all the jumpscares are exceptional.
