Silent Still 2, is a deeply immersive first-person horror game that explores the terrifying reality of sleep paralysis. Rather than relying on jump scares or loud noises, the game taps into the quiet, creeping dread that comes when you're trapped between dreaming and waking. You’ll step into the shoes of someone experiencing the paralyzing fear of being unable to move, speak, or escape the horrors lurking just beyond your vision. With a heavy focus on atmosphere, realistic environments, and subtle psychological tension, Silent Still aims to recreate what it truly feels like to be stuck in a nightmare you can’t wake up from. Every shadow, every sound, and every breath you take contributes to the unnerving sense that something is watching… and waiting.

This is the first game we’ve created after losing everything in a house fire. It marks our new beginning—starting again from scratch. We hope you enjoy every bit of this experience. No matter what happens, we won’t stop creating. This isn’t just a job for us—it’s our passion.
Q: How did you manage to develop the game despite the house fire? And where is your office now?
A: Actually, we owe a big thank you to a kind couple who donated a gaming PC to us. As soon as we received it, we were able to start developing the game from scratch. However, my girlfriend had to use our last savings to buy a new PC for herself. As for our office, we're currently renting a house, we don't have a permanent address anymore. Our room has basically become our new office.

just like the first game I felt uneasy the whole time. I highly recommend anyone to play this for yourself.
Terrifying and relatable experience, but that did not prevent me from messing with my sleep paralysis demon to balance fear and humor. 😝
And then you cooked me again with the sequel.

I keep hearing my own voice in the steam version, i was wondering if there is a way to turn that off? it makes it hard to complete sentences like i'm being talked over.
... Can you not even type up the blurb for your own game instead of using AI? "Rather than relying on jump scares or loud noises", that is EXACTLY what you are relying on, though? Like, that is not typed up by anything that played the game.
Silent Still 2 follows another character experiencing sleep paralysis in a new environment with new dangers in each corner.
As someone who's experienced sleep paralysis a few times now, the game does well to capture the feeling of helplessness as your mind manifests malevolent beings in your vicinity.
The genuine horror you feel while darting your eyes around, what should be, the safety of your home is palpable. This should be my sanctuary, so why does it suddenly feel like the worst place in the world?
My one running thought throughout this game? Close your doors and turn the bloody lights off!

EASILY the scariest game I’ve played hands down! I’ve never been so scared by jump scares in a video game in my LIFE. The atmosphere as well is so well executed! 10/10 would recommend!

fresh but terrifying XD
After watching gameplay of the first one, I thought this would be mid—OH BOY, WAS I WRONG. I don’t think I’ve ever been this terrified of a horror game before. The silence builds so much dread that it makes the jumpscares way too impactful.
A solid 10/10 experience.

On a serious note, I have never been so scared by a jump scare in a game until this. The suspense and the build up was done so good. Amazing game!! True horror vibes. Can't wait for more!!
